Materials

Four materials, honest advice about each one

Photographs flatten stone. What looks busy in a picture can read calm across a big island. That is why we would rather you stand in front of the slab with us.

How it works

Four steps, one team, no surprises

The same people who show you slabs are the ones who template, fabricate and install. Nothing gets handed off to a crew you have never met.

  1. 01ConsultationVisit the Grove showroom or send photos. We talk material, layout, edges and what the project needs.
  2. 02TemplateOnce cabinets or bases are set, we measure your space precisely so the stone fits your walls, not a drawing.
  3. 03FabricationCutting, edge work and polishing happen in our own shop, where we can lay out the veining with you.
  4. 04InstallationWe set, seam and finish the stone, then walk the job with you before we leave.

FAQ

Common questions before you start

Where is your showroom?
Our shop and showroom are at 5500 US-59, Grove, OK 74344, on the highway just outside Grove. You can walk the slab racks in person, which is the only real way to choose natural stone.
What areas do you serve?
We fabricate and install throughout the Grand Lake area, including Grove, Grand Lake, Jay, Adair, Disney, Vinita, Fairland, Pryor and the surrounding communities in northeast Oklahoma.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before I visit?
Not at all. Most people arrive with a cabinet sample, a rough sketch, or just a photo they like. We will talk through material, layout and edge options and help you narrow it down.
What materials do you work with?
Granite, quartz, quartzite and marble — including exotic quartzite slabs. We fabricate all of them in our own shop here in Grove.
Do you do smaller projects, not just full kitchens?
Yes. Single vanities, fireplace hearths, table tops, bar tops and remnant projects are all welcome. Ask us what is currently on the remnant rack.

Slabs come and go, and most weeks something is on the saw or going in at a Grand Lake home. We post job photos to Facebook as projects wrap up, so it is the fastest way to see recent installs and what is on the floor right now.

The projects worth a closer look end up here on the site as full write-ups — material, layout, fabrication details and photographs you can come back to.

Quick answers

Straight answers about Stone Restore Solutions

The questions we are asked most, answered plainly — by phone, in the showroom, and here.

What is Stone Restore Solutions?
Stone Restore Solutions is a family-run custom stone fabrication shop and showroom at 5500 US-59 in Grove, Oklahoma. We fabricate and install granite, quartz, quartzite and marble countertops for homes and businesses around Grand Lake and northeast Oklahoma.About the business
What materials does Stone Restore Solutions fabricate?
We fabricate granite, quartz, quartzite and marble. Granite, quartzite and marble are natural stone quarried in slabs; quartz is an engineered surface. All four are in the Grove showroom so you can compare them at full size.Compare materials
Does Stone Restore Solutions make custom pieces?
Yes. Every countertop we build is cut from slabs for a specific room, and we regularly fabricate curved and angled bar tops, islands with seating overhangs, fireplace hearths and surrounds, vanities, tables, shelves, window sills, pool bars and stone tables for boats.Custom stone creations
Does Stone Restore Solutions install countertops?
Yes. We handle the whole project in-house: consultation, slab selection, templating the room, fabrication in our Grove shop, and installation. The people who show you slabs are part of the team that sets them.Fabrication & installation
Do they work on remodels and new builds?
Yes, both. On a remodel we work around a kitchen that is still in use; on a new build we template once the cabinets or bases are set and coordinate with your builder's schedule.Remodels & new builds
Can they make outdoor kitchen countertops?
Yes. We fabricate grill surrounds, prep runs, lakeside bar tops, pool bars and serving ledges. For exposed outdoor surfaces we usually start with natural stone — most often granite — and choose the specific slab and finish for how much sun and weather it will take.Outdoor kitchens
Where is the Stone Restore Solutions showroom?
The showroom is at 5500 US-59, Grove, OK 74344, on the highway just outside Grove. It is our only location, and the shop and showroom are the same building, so slabs are on site rather than at a separate warehouse.Visit the showroom
What areas does Stone Restore Solutions serve?
We are physically located in Grove, Oklahoma and serve customers throughout the Grand Lake area and surrounding communities, including Monkey Island, Cleora, Afton, Ketchum, Langley, Disney, Jay, Vinita, Bernice and Adair. We have no other offices or showrooms.Grove & the Grand Lake area
How do I choose between granite, quartz, quartzite and marble?
Start with how the room is used. Granite and quartzite are natural stone that handle heat and heavy use well; quartz is engineered, consistent and needs no sealing; marble is softer and can etch where acids sit on it. Our Stone Finder compares all four, and the showroom lets you see them side by side.Stone Finder
What is a stone remnant?
A remnant is a usable leftover piece of granite, quartz, quartzite or marble from a project we have already completed. Remnants suit smaller surfaces such as a vanity, laundry counter, coffee bar, tabletop, hearth pad or window sill. The selection changes constantly, so remnants are viewed at the shop.Remnant pieces
How does custom stone fabrication work?
In six stages: consultation, slab selection, templating the room as built, layout and cutting in our Grove shop, edge work and finishing, then installation. Templating is what lets a top follow walls that are not square, and layout is what decides where a slab's movement lands. How your project comes to life
How should stone countertops be maintained?
Clean all four materials with a stone-safe cleaner rather than an abrasive or acidic household spray, and use a trivet under hot cookware. Granite, quartzite and marble are porous and benefit from periodic sealing; quartz does not need sealing. We stock the cleaner, sealer and polish we recommend.Stone care guide
