Materials
Granite, quartz, quartzite and marble
We fabricate four materials, and each one suits a different kind of household. The differences that matter are not really about looks — they are about how much maintenance you want to think about.
Read the pages below, then come see full slabs in Grove. Small samples lie.

Granite Countertops in Grove, OK
Granite is where our shop started, and it is still the stone most people walk in asking about. It is quarried in blocks and cut into slabs, so no two pieces are alike — the slab you choose is the slab we cut for your kitchen.
- Natural stone
- Heat tolerant
- Hard-wearing
- Huge variety

Quartz Countertops in Grove, OK
Quartz is an engineered surface: natural quartz combined with resin and pigment and manufactured into slabs. That process is exactly why people choose it.
- Consistent
- Non-porous
- Low maintenance
- Wide range of looks

Quartzite Countertops in Grove, OK
Quartzite is natural stone that often looks like marble but wears more like granite — soft, flowing veining with real hardness behind it.
- Natural veining
- Hard-wearing
- Exotic slabs
- One of a kind

Marble Countertops in Grove, OK
Marble is the classic. Cool to the touch, soft in tone, with veining that has been the reference point for beautiful stone for centuries.
- Classic veining
- Natural stone
- Cool surface
- Timeless

Quick answers
Common questions about our materials
- Which countertop materials does Stone Restore Solutions carry?
- Granite, quartz, quartzite and marble — all four in the Grove showroom, all four fabricated in our own shop.
- Which material is best for a busy family kitchen?
- Granite, quartzite and quartz all suit heavy daily use. Granite and quartzite are natural stone that take heat well; quartz is engineered, non-porous and needs no sealing. Marble is the one we would talk through carefully before putting it in a hard-working kitchen.Compare all four
- Which material works outdoors in Oklahoma?
- We usually start with natural stone, most often granite, and choose the slab and finish for the exposure. We do not recommend quartz in direct sun because its resin content reacts to sustained UV and heat.Outdoor kitchens
