Custom work
Custom Stone Creations
Some of our favorite projects never started as a countertop. Stone tables, boat tables, pool bars, benches, shelving, signage and pieces that only exist because somebody asked us.
If you have an idea and are not sure whether it can be done in stone, bring it in. Most of the time the answer is yes, and the conversation is free.
What's included
What we handle on this kind of project
Stone tables
Dining tables, coffee tables and side tables built on your base or ours.
Boat & dock pieces
Stone tables and surfaces made for life on Grand Lake.
Pool bars
Poolside bar tops and serving surfaces built for wet, sunny use.
One-off ideas
Shelving, benches, signage and anything else you can sketch for us.
How a custom piece comes together
We start with a conversation and usually a sketch. From there we talk material — how thick, how heavy, which edge, and whether the stone needs support underneath. Then we template, fabricate in the shop, and either deliver or help you set it.
Remnant slabs are a great fit for smaller custom pieces, so ask what is on the rack when you visit.
FAQ
Questions we hear often
- Is there a minimum size for a custom piece?
- No. We have made everything from a full dining table to a small stone shelf. Bring the idea and we will tell you honestly whether stone is the right answer.
- Can you work from a drawing or a photo?
- Yes — a sketch with rough dimensions or a photo of something you liked is plenty to start from.
Next step
Let's talk about your project
Bring your measurements, cabinet colors, or just a photo you love. We will walk the slabs with you, talk through material and edge options, and give you a clear next step.
